Our journey with Melcom began when our representative visited Ghana and had the privilege of meeting a close associate of the Melcom owners. This meeting paved the way for our products — corn flakes, cocoa balls, cocoa flakes, and oat flakes — to grace the shelves of Melcom Supermarkets across the country.
Melcom, established in 1989 by the visionary Indian entrepreneur Bhagwan Khubchandani, has grown into a network of 65 shops spanning the length and breadth of Ghana. The legacy of Melcom traces back to Bhagwan's father, Ramchand Khubchandani, who arrived in the then Gold Coast in 1929 as a 14-year-old store boy.
The Melcom Group of Companies, a testament to the Khubchandani family's entrepreneurial spirit, comprises six distinct entities: Melcom Limited, Century Industries Limited, Crownstar Electronic Industries Limited, Melcom Hospitality, Melcom Travels, and Melcom Care. While Melcom Limited spearheads the retail sector with 42 outlets, the group has diversified its portfolio to excel in various other industries.
